Cookies
Cookie Policy.
Last updated: April 2026
This page explains what cookies and similar technologies lumii.ch uses — and what it does not use. The short version: we are minimal by design. No analytics. No advertising. No social media trackers.
01
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file stored in your browser by a website. It can remember information between visits. localStorage is technically not a cookie — it is a browser storage mechanism — but it serves a similar purpose and is subject to the same transparency obligations under ePrivacy and nDSG.
02
What Lumii actually uses
Here is the complete and honest list of everything lumii.ch places in your browser or connects to externally.
What lumii.ch does NOT use: analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Plausible, etc.) · advertising pixels (Meta Pixel, Google Ads, etc.) · social media embeds (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.) · heatmap or session recording tools.
03
A note on Google Fonts
We use Google Fonts to load Cormorant Garamond and Inter — the two typefaces that define Lumii's visual identity. When the page loads, your browser connects to Google's servers to download these fonts. This transmits your IP address. Google does not install a cookie through this mechanism, but the connection itself is a transfer of data.
We continue to use Google Fonts because self-hosting these fonts on every device would require additional server infrastructure we do not yet have. We are aware this is not the most privacy-preserving option and may switch to self-hosted fonts in a future update.
